Coming from a family of creative types, including writers, painters, musicians and poets, my artistic endeavours were always encouraged from a young age, but my story really began with a beautiful box of watercolour paints my dad gave me to cheer me up whilst in hospital when I was fifteen. I instantly fell in love with these small jewel-like blocks of colour, and never looked back. Thirty-five years later I’m still passionate about watercolour painting, the medium which constantly enchants, surprises, and challenges me, and I never get bored with it.

As you can see further down this page, since making the move into pursuing a career as a working artist I’ve been fortunate to have exhibited my painting across the world, with so many finding their way into numerous private, public, and corporate collections along the way.

It has truly been a blessing in my life as an artist to meet the many people I have had the privilege to teach and paint for over the last fourteen years of as I've led studio workshops, online courses, and given private lessons and art demonstrations for art societies. Passing on my passion and painting techniques is something I’m planning to expand on throughout 2026 and beyond.
